Distinguished centre-right politicians met from 16 to 18 September 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic to analyse the migration crisis and its effects on Europe, the consequences of the UK referendum, and current challenges to the transatlantic partnership.

Conference speakers included the former Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott MP, one of the world’s foremost economists Hernando de Soto, AECR President Jan Zahradil MEP (ODS), ODS Chairman Petr Fiala MP, AECR Secretary-General Daniel Hannan MEP (UK Conservative Party), and the President Emeritus at Migration Policy Institute, Demetrios G. Papademetriou.

The AECR is the fastest growing political movement in Europe. It brings together parties committed to individual liberty, national sovereignty, parliamentary democracy, the rule of law, private property, low taxes, sound money, free trade, open competition, and the devolution of power.
